We looked into this facility when looking for a place to relocate my uncle. It was a very nice location. Well staffed and the nurses desk is in the middle and can see clearly down each hallway which I liked. They give their patients options for lunch and dinner and have a beverage bar which was awesome. The residents seemed very happy. Unfortunately they did not a accept my uncle because they don't often accept MR (mental retardation) patients even though he is elderly and does not have behavior issues.

Pecan Tree is very friendly and genuine.They have compassionate Nurses, Nurses Aides, kitchen staff, maintenance, and housekeepers. Their Therapy department is top notch, I’ve seen them work miracles and was one of their patrons.From the time you walk into the building, you get greeted with a warm smile welcoming you. Living there was pretty much easy, they take care of everything. You have different denominations of churches that hold service their and bible studies. Everyday there is something planned to do for the residents, arts and crafts, bingo, and (pre COVID-19) outings just to name a few.

My mother suffered from dementia and we could no longer care for her at home. We trusted Pecan Tree to care for her. They met and exceeded our expectations. From the housekeeping and kitchen staffs to the nurses and aids...they all treated her with kindness. You could tell they truly cared for her. They were in constant contact with me about anything going on with mom’s health. They truly are Angels and we were blessed to have had them care for our mother.

After becoming responsible for finding a suitable place for my sister, I researched nursing home facilities in Denton and Gainesville. It was important for me to find the best for her since I had already had two family members in nursing homes that were NOT up to par and one of them was physically abused. After searching and reading reviews from the web and visiting the site I discovered there were several people living here which I knew. After speaking with them and asking them about the facility I was quite comfortable with my decision to place my sister here. She has been content and much more relaxed here than in the previous facility she was in. It has always been clean and smells fresh. Remodeling is currently taking place which will only make it better than it already is. Even with that, the facility is still clean and clutter free. The staff are always courteous and lets me know that if I have any concerns at all they will immediately address any issues. They keep me current on her health care and if there is any change in her medications they call me and let me know what changes the doctor has made. When issues have arise due to any reaction to her meds they have been quick to take care of it. The business office is always courteous and helpful in dealing with the business side of things. If there are any concerns about the laundry they have been dealt with immediately. She has had some clothes placed in her closet that didn’t belong to her. When I gave them to the nurse she knew exactly what patient they belonged to and immediately took care of it. This puts my mind at ease to understand that they know their patients well enough to know what clothes they wear. That’s a real family atmosphere that I was searching for. They have been very kind and courteous in finding the right roommate for my sister as well. I’m very pleased with this facility and so thankful to all of the staff and the people that live there for making it such a welcoming and happy place for my sister to live out the rest of her years.It seems that some bitter person commented on my review so I will add just an additional comment to put other minds at ease that may be looking to place their loved ones here, there are not any bed bugs in this nursing home. It is very clean. And yes, I am very happy with my choice and would encourage anyone to visit and see for themselves that it is a very nice place.

I usually only see the day shifts, but they all seem to work very efficiently together to take great care of the residents. They genuinely appear to care about the residents and have a good friendly rapport with them, which makes everyone feel at home.

I toured many homes in the area and Pecan Tree is by far my facility of choice. Not only was the building clean, but the residents were well groomed and appeared in good spirits. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Pecan Tree lovingly took care of my husband's Grandfather this summer and honestly I don't think he would have received the care, and had the the quality of life that he experienced right until the very end of his life. The nursing staff followed up on every question we had, and every concern that was presented. The met with us as often as we requested and would drop everything to ensure that we had what we needed and that our loved one was adequately cared for. I will only recommend this facility in the area.

Moved my father here on July 16th , I'm very pleased with the results he has made in one week, nursing and pretty much everyone I have spoken to has been friendly and my father is being well taken care of , it's an older facility but their CNA 'S are so kind to their residents and you can till they care and want to be there and it's not just a paycheck , Therapy is on point shannon the speech therapist has worked wonders on my father in less than a week , this facility has employees that has been there for years , if you have a loved one I highly recommend them.
